Deletions Policy


  • All deletions of documents and cases will be handled by the CaseWeb Team
  • These deletions will be logged in Freshdesk which will be a record of such activity
  • The listing of such deletions will be exported routinely form CaseWeb and held should queries arise.


Where requests are made for a deletion we need to know the reason.  

In order to prevent UNISON appearing to routinely delete items with no good reason we will normally only delete items in the following situations:

  •   If  the item is loaded to the incorrect case.
  •   if the item contains in appropriate language or content
  •   If the case is duplicate and all the correct items are loaded to the case that is to remain
  •   if there are multiple copies of a document or email that make the case hard to read..  double copies will left in place if ther do not contain erroneous content,
